EAT OUT TO HELP OUT

The Wayford Bridge Inn will be participating in the nationwide EAT OUT TO HELP OUT scheme.

How does it work?

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the government will pay 50% of your bill (up to a £10 maximum per person) at participating businesses.

This applies to food and soft drinks whilst having a sit down meal and applies all day breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Do I need to book?

We are already very busy and August usually is busier still so please call to book a table before arrival to avoid disappointment.

What COVID secure rules do I need to know?

The hotel has reduced the number of tables and has the following policies from our risk assessment.

No more than 2 households per single table indoors and we only allow a max table size of 6 persons.

No more than 6 people from any household on 1 table outside.

Please wait to be seated we need to know how many people we have inside and outside at all times.  Please do not ignore the signage and try and enter via exits or sit down without being seated as you may not be served.

Please observe social distancing and do not move tables or allow children to run between tables it is for everyones safety that we have and follow the rules.

It is our view that intoxicated persons are not able to socially distance so if you appear intoxicated you will not be be served.

We have been open since the 4 July with these measures in place and the vast majority of customers have been wonderful respecting the rules and other customers.

Sadly some visitors have been unable to do so and in cases where this happens we will have a zero tolerance policy on what is a matter of safety for our staff and customers and service will be refused.
